actress, Foluke Daramola Salako has been appointed as a brand ambassador for
Ekiti State Festival tagged, 'EKTI FEST'.
The actress, who have
been missing in Nollywood since her marriage said: "I have been made
a brand ambassador of the Ekiti State Festival so, am here in Ekiti more than
the way I do stay in Lagos. I'm among the first set of Nollywood practitioners
who took Nollywood people to Ekiti. I was appointed as an ambassador because of
my educational pedigree and about the only celebrated face in Yoruba Nollywood
with a Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy.”

Wright, Ireti Osayemi and a host of others are also expected to grace the event
which comes up in December.
Ekiti State First
Lady, Mrs Bisi Fayemi will be the Chairperson for the committee of the Festival
while Chief Mr Ronke Okusanya, the State's Commissioner for Culture and Tourism
would be the Vice Chairperson.
Also Mrs Yetunde Fosudo, wife of veteran actor Sola Fosudo, who is now the Director of Culture in Ekiti State, is part of the team.
