Some Governors who belong to the faction of Rivers State Governor, Chief Rotimi Amaechi’s faction of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) have concluded plans to pay the Rivers helmsman a solidarity visit in Port harcourt this week.
Investigations by the Nigerian Tribune confirmed that the governors are to be led by Niger State governor, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu.
Sources confirmed that other governors on the planned trip to Port Harcourt include the governors of Adamawa, Kano, Sokoto and Kwara.
Sources said that the visit planned to Port Harcourt, would enable the governors reassure Amaechi of the support of his colleagues.
