Rivers State House of Assembly leader, Hon. Chidi Lloyd has been brought to court barely 24 hours after a Rivers State High Court ordered the police to produce the detained leader. The police brought him to court this morning for arraignment.
Correspondents at the court reports that Hon. Lloyd could not walk on his own. He was aided by two persons, alongside a good number of armed security operatives. We have earlier reported that the lawmaker was been brutally tortured by the police.
Lloyd is currently being arraigned in a Port Harcourt High court presided over by Justice L.L Nyordee.
