President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, promised not to discriminate against section of the country despite public complaints that his appointments have been severely lopsided to favor the North.
Taking a look at the country’s security agencies, persons from the Northern section have been appointed to head 14 out of a total 17, with the remaining 3 all from the South.
Several groups have accused the president for not reflecting Federal Character in his appointments since he assumed his office in 2015.
The president, speaking at the Palace of the Emir of Daura, Farouk Umar Farouk in Katsina State where he was hosted to the breaking of the Ramadan fast- Iftar said that he would not take any action in the country on the basis of prejudice as all matters would be considered objectively.

He further promised to do his best to remain honest, fair and just leading the country into prosperity.
He called on Nigerians to support him as he rebuilds the country fairly, honestly and responsibly.
