- As party plots winning Kogi, Bayelsa guber elections
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that it is not disturbed over the corruption allegations against its governorship candidates in Kogi and Bayelsa states as they are not court verdicts.
The party’s governorship candidate in Kogi State, Prince Audu Abubakar and that of his counterpart in Bayelsa state, Chief Timipreye Sylva are facing trials at different courts over corruption allegations of which the party is facing criticisms over their candidatures
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is using the corruption allegations as a campaign tool against the APC candidates.
But in his reaction Sunday, the National Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni stated that the party was not disturbed over the allegation of corruption against the party’s candidates, as he said: “Corruption allegation is not a court verdict”.
