Following the trending
stories about popular Nigerian singer Timaya and his Atlanta-based fan Shella
B's rape case, a Nollywood movie producer Charles Novia, known for his
controversial article writing skills, has written an article about them.
He titled the article ‘They Call Him Timaya; “Getting Down” Higher’.
According to Bella Naija’s report, in the article he recaps the rape story that had Timaya trending and explains why he thought it was a publicity stunt at first. He also adds his opinion as to why Timaya’s response was ill advised.
