Katsina Gov's wife sponsors medics on foreign training

Wife of Katsina State governor Hajiya Fatima Ibrahim Shema has sponsored a doctor and laboratory scientist attached to Turai Yar’adua Child and Maternity Hospital to study sickle cell management in London in a bid to managing the disease in the state.

Hajiya Fatima,while commissioning the newly constructed Skill Cells Diagnostic Laboratory at the hospital expressed optimism that the course will greatly assist the personnel in the discharge of their duties. She said  screening of new born babies, tests and counseling of sickle cells patients can be done at the laboratory.
